Include These 3 Things DAILY for Self-care

We all juggle more than one responsibility in life and, at times, it's easy for us to start to sacrifice things that truly matter-like family, faith, and health. I'm a firm believer that self-care is the best care, and if you take care of your health you will be more productive with every other facet in life.

Self-care reaches beyond a solid breakfast. It's also mental and emotional rest. The most successful people are high-functioning and able to perform an insane amount of work with only 24 hours in a day, just like you and me. More often than not, these individuals have become a master of their calender; making the most of every hour.

Three things (among many) make the list of every successful person:

Read

This provides benefits to our memory, focus, concentration, and helps increase our vocabulary. Start by reading a book that you have interest in or one that will build you as a person.

Exercise

Exercising helps stimulate endorphins increasing energy and making you feel happier, helps weight loss, builds bone and muscle. Walking is a simple way to start an exercise routine that is not taxing on the body.

Meditate

Doing this will reduce stress and anxiety, increase focus, promote emotional health, and create an attitude of gratitude. Find a place to relax and focus in the morning, like sitting in your favorite chair or by a lake sipping on your favorite coffee or tea.

I'm encouraged to know that at any moment, I can implement change in my life. Sure, I am not always the most disciplined person, but I am growing more daily.

I believe that you can change, too. You do not have to stay where you are for the rest of your life. Start by doing the Top 3- Read daily, Exercise, and Meditate, even if it's for only 10 minutes per day to start.

It will not take you long to notice a big change.
